Ethel McKinley Obituary

Ethel R. McKinley entered eternal rest on December 4, 2004. She is survived by her husband, William McKinley; daughters, Patricia, Jane, Jo, Rebecca; sons-in-law, Michael Pfeifer, Clark Sweet, Cosimo Luchese; five grandchildren, Katharine, Grace and Miranda Bennett, Braden and Craig Sweet; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ethel was born July 24, 1914 to Joseph and Hattie in Glen Allen, MO. Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. McKinley was a retired Home Economics teacher. She enjoyed her garden, flowers and her own homemaking responsibilities. Her hobbies were quilting, caning chairs, leather work and pottery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2004 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to San Antonio Botanical Society, (mark for Bench Fund), P.O. Box 6569, San Antonio, TX 78209.
