Eugene "JD" Fortin, Jr. went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 2, 1953 in San Antonio, to Eugene Fortin, Sr. and Elvira Salas Rodriguez. Mr. Fortin was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Bobby Saldana. He is survived by his mother; his beloved wife, Hortencia Oyervides Fortin; sons, Andrew Gonzales (Patty), Adam Gonzales (Mary Helen), James Gonzales; sister, Lisa Michelle Rodriguez; brothers, Felix Saldana, Daniel Saldana (Veronica), Celedino Saldana (Mary); numerous grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; and best friend, Rudy De La Torres (Dolores).
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6:00pm-9:00pm, with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm at Brookehill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 10:00am at Brookehill Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
