Feliz R. Martinez passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 13, 2025, at the age of 100. She was born on March 31, 1925, in San Marcos, Texas. Feliz loved family gatherings, cooking for her family and going out to eat at Panchitos and Los Barrios. Her passions in life were gardening, dancing and gambling. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her. Feliz is reunited in heaven with her husband of 65 years Frank L. Martinez, parents Alejo and Tomasita Ramos, daughter Rachel M. Esquivel, grandson Johnny Rodriguez, Jr., brothers Pete, Gumecindo and Alex "Junie" Ramos and sisters Agapita, Francis and Susie. Feliz is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her children Manuel Deleon (Santa), Rosie Rodriguez (Johnny), Becky Brantley (Larry) and Suzanne Herrada (Louie), siblings Mary Pachecano (Armando), Joe Ramos (Elia), 9 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and 3 great great- grandchildren plus numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, a funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. to have a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II
