Floyd Wallace Obituary
Floyd Wallace passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Zelma Wallace and sister, Beverly Hauser. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha whom he married in 1954; children, Marsha Guinn and husband, Charles, Marla Greene and husband, Joseph and Clayton Wallace and wife, Rebecca; his pride and joy were his four grandchildren, Erin, TJ, Jessica and Abigail. Floyd was proud to have served his country in the US Army for two years. He was one of the original people that helped construct the Helotes Little League at its' present location. Floyd retired from City Public Service after 38 years of service. The family would like to express a special thanks to his wonderful doctors: Dr. Michael Heistand, Dr. Sammy Vick and Dr. Steven Kalter and also the Harbor Hospice Group.
Services
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Fred J. Tips Mausoleum Chapel at Mission Burial Park North. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.

We were so saddened to hear of Floyd's passing he was always so kind to the boys when they wer little. We so appreciate his providing transportation and letting Wes hang out with TJ and Ethan at his house when they were young. I know he loved the game of baseball and was TJ's biggest fan. Our sncere condolences.

Floyd was a friend of ours for over 65 years. We attended school together and I worked with him at CPSB. He was a very dear friend and he will be missed by our whole family. Our condolences go out to Martha and all of the children.
