Frank Salazar Obituary

Frank C. Salazar went to be with his Lord on November 4, 2002 at the age of 69, after his courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 11, 1933 in Edinburg, TX, he moved to San Antonio, then made his way to California and returned to San Antonio for the remainder of his life. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. An Army veteran, he lived an active life that included working at the Villager Lodge formerly known as the Elmira Motor Inn. He also loved gardening, cook-outs and football events spent with his family. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the love and care given to their father and grandfather, Frank C. Salazar. On November 5, 2002, Services were held at Memorial Funeral Home, Rosary was at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be held Today, Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 10:00 A.M. He will be laid to rest at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2. Survived by: son, Frank Salazar Jr.; daughter-in-law, Gloria Salazar; daughter, Corina Salazar; son-in-law, Luan Tran; grandchildren, Tuan Nguyen, Jasmine and Jay Tran; daughter, Frances S. Martinez; son-in-law, John Martinez; grandson, Ruben Cruz; daughter, Linda Salazar; daughter, Teresa Harrison; son-in-law, Reigh Harrison; grandsons, Lawrence Jones and Reigh Harrison of Escondido, CA; son, Frank R. Salazar; daughter, Cipri Furniss; grandchildren, Wyatte and Sienna Furniss of San Francisco, CA.
