George Jaros Obituary

JAROS
George Nickolas "Nick" Jaros, died Friday, September 13, 2013. He was 82.

Nick Jaros was born November 22, 1930 in Connellsville, Pa. to Mary and Stanley Jaros. He served two tours in the United States Air Force and continued to serve in federal civilian employment as the Chief of the Design Division, Internal Information Directorate at the Air Force Service Information and News Center. Nick also taught art at Trinity University and was a member of the Texas Watercolor Society and Men of Art Guild, San Antonio, Texas.

Nick is survived by his wife Nancy and his two children and their families: Daughter; Pamela Anne Jaros Reinhard and Michael A. Reinhard of Falcon, CO and their son, Bruce Anthony, and son David Christopher Jaros and his wife Denise T. Jaros of San Antonio, TX and their son, Logan Christopher. Nick is preceded in death by wife Lucille B. Jaros.

Nick will be remembered as a gifted and talented artist and for his legacy as a family man.

A visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home located at 6321 Bandera Rd., from 6-8pm on Wednesday, September 18th. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 19 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Drive 78228. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3. An online guest book can be found at www.sunsetnwfuneralhome.com.
