Gerald Sanford Reamey
February 7, 1948 - November 3, 2025
Gerald "Geary" Sanford Reamey passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 3, 2025. Beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and professor, Geary cherished his family and friends.

Geary is survived by his wife, Kay (Lancaster) Reamey; his daughter, Anne Sanford (Reamey) Meachim; his son-in-law, Allan William Meachim; his granddaughter, Evelyn Sanford Meachim; his brother-in-law, Gary A. Lancaster; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beth (Lancaster) Eidson and Michael L. Eidson; his nephew and niece, Jack M. Eidson and Riley E. Eidson; and numerous beloved cousins.

Geary was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Reamey and Geraldean Sims Reamey.

A private Military Funeral Honors Ceremony was held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, honoring Geary's life and military service.

The family will host a Celebration of Life in January 2026, in the Korbell Great Hall in the Chapman Center at Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Gerald & Kay Reamey Endowed Law Scholarship Fund at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas; the Reamey Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas; or the San Antonio Food Bank.
