GLORIA CALONGE Obituary
Gloria Mae Calonge, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. She was born in Seguin, Texas on Febuary 22, 1936. Gloria loved her family dearly and had been an active member of Holy Trinity Church. She proudly served her country at the Defense Mapping Agency in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, where she received numerous honors and awards. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lupe Jaramillo; her husband, Richard Calonge; and her sister, Rachel Block. Gloria is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Franklin & Cindy Calonge and Richard & Dana Calonge; two sisters, Jacqueline Jaramillo and Patricia Story; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Calonge, Patricia McKay, and Amy Horowitz; 3 great-grandchildren, Holly McKay, Maggie McKay, and Lucy Horowitz; niece, Cristal & husband Lucas McGuiness; great-niece Hailey Massey; and great-nephew, Hunter McGuiness. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm., Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dylan Calonge, Ralph Saenz, Jim Sheffield, Justin Horowitz, Bill Fisher and Greg Jaeger.

Calonge Family, your mother was an angel to me. I appreciated the love and kindness that she shared with me at a critical time in my life. Even though, i know this a difficult time just know we will all miss her and that you will always be family to me. I´m very grateful to have known Mrs.Calonge. Always here for you if you need me.
