Gloria Fiedler Obituary
September 10, 2025
Sister Gloria Ann Fiedler, CDP, (87) entered eternal life on September 10, 2025. She was the middle child of Chester and Margaret (Hulfmann) Fiedler's seven children. Sister Gloria Ann was born December 1, 1937, in Cain City (near Fredericksburg), Texas. She professed First Vows as a Sister of Divine Providence on June 22, 1958. Sister's lifelong journey of connecting with people and sharing the Providence charism began in 1959 and continued until her last day on earth!
Her education ministry covered all levels: elementary school to colleges throughout Texas and Louisiana. Her other roles included being a campus and youth/young adult minister in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Dioceses of Brownsville (Texas) and Fort Wayne (Indiana.) She shared her love and enthusiasm for her Provident God in every role.
MEMORIAL SERVICES
A Rosary will be Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at 4:30pm; with a Wake at 6:00pm.
Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 at 11:00am. All services will be in Annunciation Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake Convent.
In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a memorial contribution to the:

Sister Gloria Ann had been my spiritual director since 1980, when she started with the Young adult ( Friends)group). I treasure so many beautiful memories with her. Her deep faith spilled over onto many. I know she is rejoicing being in the complete presence of Our Lord Jesus! Praying for us all with even more strength and love. Thank you Sister, you know how much I love you and will miss you! Until we meet again. Gods will be done!

Sister ! Gloria Ann was my young Adult Spiritual Mentor at Our Lady de Guadalupe Church in San Antonio Texas, i enjoyed the many times we had together with the Groups Praying and singing and worshiping the Lord and Mother Mary . My Deepest Condolences and prayers are with you and your family Friends who love you Sister .God Bless you on your Journey to Heaven
