Gregory Pridgen Obituary
Gregory "Greg" Pridgen of San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 58 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe J. Jr. and Louise Pridgen. Greg is survived by his siblings, Blanche Swierc and husband Gene, of Falls City, TX.; Tom Pridgen, of Floresville, TX.; Tim Pridgen and wife Evelyn, of Okmulgee, OK.; Mark Pridgen and wife Eileen, of San Antonio, TX.; Karen Sherman and husband Kevin, of Glendale, AZ.; Joseph Pridgen III and wife, Natalie, of Adkins, TX.; nephews and nieces, Renona, Tazlyn, Clay, Cody, Joseph, and Vanessa; family friends, Ed Flatten, Rosemary Gonzales, and many friends throughout the Baptist Health Care System. A special Thank you too, FR. Jossh Carmen, O.S.B.
Greg graduated from Highlands High School in 1976, he also attended St. Phillips College and San Antonio College. He worked at the Downtown Baptist Hospital for the past 18 years. Holding various positions with the latest being the Unit Secretary.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.

My condolences to the Pridgen family. I too worked with Greg (GOYO) on the dialysis floor and he was a joy to work with. He would give me candy whenever we worked together. We had many laughs together and I will truly miss my friend. He is in a better, happier place now. No more suffering.
