H. Abramson Obituary
He was an amazing man who had a very lucky life and a beautiful family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Idelle Reva Abramson, and his brother, Melvin Abramson.
Norman is survived by his sons, Phillip (Lisa) and Mark (Marilyn), grandsons; David (Lisa) and Joshua (Lynn) and five great-grandchildren; Noah, Samantha, Lauren, Owen and Cooper, as well as his companion, Helene.
Norman's family would like to express their gratitude for his caregivers Cameron, Mylene, Dom, Yolanda, Jameel, Tanya, and LaShonda for the love and care they provided over the past few years.

Dr. Norm Abramson was a star at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. He led his Division beautifully through the years, and then helped lead the Institute in his most senior management position for more years. Dr. Abramson made the big projects and programs happen, and he was involved in many professional societies and most importantly, he led the Institute staff and helped them make person decisions that positively affected their careers!
So very many of us are fortunate to have known or worked for "Dr. A" over the decades and we will never forget him. We wish his extended family and those currently working at SwRI our sympathies and thoughts. This world was a much better place because of Dr. Abramson.
