Harold Wise Obituary

Harold Edward WIse, 90, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away April 21, 2007. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Bernice Loman Wise. Harold was born in Norwalk, Ohio on August 29, 1916 to Jesse E. Wise and May Fiedler. Harold arrived in Texas during the Great Depression and worked with his father in the early Oil Fields in Humble, Texas. Harold worked for Mid Continent Supply Company in Refugio, Texas, Laurel, Mississippi and New Orleans. He later founded North American Oil Field Equipment Company in Houston, Texas. After selling his business, he went on to building residential and commercial properties in Texas. Harold married his wife Bernice in 1939. He is survived by three children, Jacqueline Shaw, Rockport, Texas, Veronica (Patrick) Wright of San Antonio and William Wise of Irving; and eight grand children: Jon Shaw, James Shaw, Jeffrey Shaw, Sabrina Futch, Christian Wise, Jennifer Patterson, Mathew Wright, Alexander Wright and nineteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his favorite sister in law, Ida Loman Kenny and two nieces and five nephews. Rosary will take place at 7:30 P.M. at Stella Maris Catholic Church, Lamar, Texas on Monday, April 23, 2007 with Monsignor Louis Kihneman presiding. The Mass of Resurrection will take place at 10:00 A.M. at Stella Maris Catholic Church, Lamar, Texas on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 with Father Henry Heese as celebrant.
