Herbert Warner Obituary

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Psalm 1:14 Herbert James Fritz Warner was welcomed into this world on February 11, 1926. On September 30, 2008, he was received to his final home by Jesus, his first wife Dorothy Raye, his mother Leonie Warner, his father Albert Warner and his sister Evelyn Liebbe. Fritz was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received his law degree from Saint Mary's University and worked for Forest Oil for over forty years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading and was an avid fly fisherman. A true and faithful servant of the Lord, Fritz sought to enrich the lives of those around him by his innate kindness and generosity. Fritz is survived by his wife Wilma, brother William and wife Tiffany and six children: Penny and her husband Ralph, John, Abby and her husband Fred, Cinda, Paul and his wife Jill, and Missy and her husband David. He also has ten grandchildren whom he loved and adored: Karyn, Katie, Mandy, Lauren, Jeff, Sara, Jared, Jacob, Allie, and Joey, as well as four great-grandchildren: Braydon, Jenna, Sydney, and Riley. The Rosary will be recited at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2008.
