Uncle Hubert. Aunt Leah. What a wonderful couple to have in my life. Leah is three hours away from Waco, but one second away from my heart. You had a great husband, I had a great Uncle. What a man. God bless you, Aunt Leah, and rest in peace Uncle Hubert. I'll see you again one day! <

Mr. Green was a wonderful man, an extraordinary lawyer, and a patient mentor when we were working on a pro bono matter. May his family take comfort from the long shadow he left as they celebrate his well lived life. Blessings,

Hubert was one of the best trial lawyers I ever had the privilege to call my partner and friend. He exemplified what the profession was suppose to be. I have never known a better man. I am going to miss my Longhorn comrade.

Mrs. Green -- Leah -- I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Green. In reading about his life's work, it seems as a young neighbor I hardly knew him. But, what I do know is that both of you were there for us in times of need. I wish I could be with you at this time but I know you are surrounded by your loving family and friends. Mr. Green was a wonderful man as you are the wonderful wife who has been by his side for many years. Please receive my deepest condolences at this time of loss.

What a beautiful tribute to a remarkable man. Hubert Green was one of the best lawyers Texas has seen, and one of the kindest men I have ever known. I feel very fortunate to have been part of his wonderful life. May God comfort his loving family in this difficult time.

I met Mr. Green as a law clerk from 1976-1978. He knew my family and was kind enough to give me a job. He was a truly fine gentleman and a wonderfully skilled lawyer. He was kind to me & was a wonderful teacher and example. He was completely respected by the local bar. He was a positive influence on generations of lawyers. He will be missed.

Leah,

I had lunch with the "girls" today and was told of Hubert's passage into to heaven. Oh, to be with Jesus! And, oh, to be without that very special husband and father. Joy and sorrow combined. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

IN THE OVER 35 YEARS THAT I HAVE WORKED IN THE BEXAR COUNTY COURTHOUSE, I HAVE MET MANY LAWYERS BUT IT WAS INDEED A PRIVILEGE TO HAVE MET MR. GREEN. HE WAS WHAT I REFER TO AS AN OLD-TIME LAWYER WHERE A HANDSHAKE WAS ALL IT TOOK TO MAKE AGREEMENTS AMONG COUNSEL. HE WAS A VERY NICE MAN TO ME AND WE WILL ALL MISS HIM HERE AT THE COURTHOUSE.
