Jack Douglas Hemby

Jack Douglas Hemby, born in Stockade, TX on August 8, 1943, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 9, 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nataline (nee Hartley) Hemby and sister, Joyce Nell Purgason. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lauri Hemby; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Clay Hudler, Stephanie and Wiley Cloud, and Tracy Bratz; brother and sister-in-law, James and Arlene Hemby and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2001 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Simplicity Funeral Chapels. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Friday, April 13, 2001 at 2:45 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Rev. Joe Stansell of Salem Sayers Baptist Church officiating.
