Jack B. Moynihan was born in New York City on July 25, 1933, and passed away on November 5, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 92.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jerome Moynihan, Sr. and Stephanie B. Moynihan, his siblings Lt. Jerome Moynihan Jr, Frank Moynihan, Joan Moynihan, and Stephanie Moynihan Ball. In addition, his wife of 47 years, Dee Jacques Moynihan passed away in 2013 and his son Blair in 2023.

He is survived by his daughter Dana (Billy) Ryann and his seven grandchildren, Aaron Ryann, Kevin Ryann, Olivia Ryann McCabe (Diego), Emilia Ryann, Simon Ryann, Macy Rayne Moynihan and Liam Moynihan. He was a fantastic dad and grandpa and adored his 7 grandkids.

Jack graduated from St. John's University School of Law. He began his career when he relocated to San Antonio, TX in 1961, after serving in the Army. After serving in the government in a variety of legal positions, he joined the office of the Western District of Texas as an Assistant U.S. Attorney as a Senior Litigation Counsel until his retirement in 1994.

A devout Catholic and daily communicant, Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a past President of the San Antonio Right to Life Committee. Jack was a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and held the rank of Knight Commander at the time of his death.
