James David Warnash
July 1, 1946 - September 11, 2025
James David Warnasch was born in Yorktown Texas, on July 1, 1946. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1965. Soon after high school, he joined the US Navy and served four years during the Vietnam War Era. After that he started his career in the steel fabrication business where he continued until his retirement in 2016.
During the 1980's, he was very active in the Boy Scouts of America. His two sons were scouts and they have fond memories of that time. James served in the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He was a Master Mason in the Stockdale Masonic Lodge Number 470.
James passed away September 11, 2025. He is survived by his wife Mary Gayle. He is also survived by his sons John Warnasch (wife Tanya) and David Warnasch (wife Robin) and grandsons Ty Warnasch (wife Patti), Holden Warnasch, and 3 great grandkids.
James was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Norah Ledwig and his sister Suzanne Audilet.
