She was always smiling and so giving. Loved helping others. She always wanted to know what was going on in my life and my family. I am so glad I was able to visit with her and Mike in November. My heart goes out to Mike and DD.

what a beautiful picture of a beautiful lady! so many vivid memories, in elementary school I slid into base a little too hard and had to get stitches; Aunt Janice picked me up from Beacon Hill took me to get care. Then another stitches incident in Dallas there was Aunt Janice taking me for care. She was the person who contacted my employer when Grandma Coley died on Aug 2 1982. so many deeply personal memories. She was always there when life hit hard. I loved watching her and Uncle Dean interacting. always with love, respect, and plain old common sense. I know both were so proud of DeDe and Mike. what an amazing legacy they both left. People who knew them were lucky. But for those of us who were family; well we were blessed beyond measure to see them navigate through life with a kindness and love.

Janice Coley was one of the nicest, most Christian, and most naturally elegant ladies I have ever met. She was so sharp she missed no nuance in a conversation, and always made you feel important! She was an inspiration to a young girl like me, who certainly needed the example of a strong, smart, and elegant lady for which to strive. I will never forget her.

Oh my heart Aunt Janice, one of the most beautiful, fun, generous, stylish ladies I’ve ever known. She embodied San Antonio hospitality in every way. Aunt Janice was my partner in enjoying Mexican cuisine— one trip we ate it for 3 days straight and loved every bite. We would talk about my mom and daddy, who met eons ago while both worked for Uncle Dean. She’s with them now dancing in Heaven. What a welcome party they must be having! I will miss her dearly and cherish every memory!
