Jeanette Kramer Riser passed away peacefully in New Braunfels, Texas surrounded by loved ones on August 17, 2021. She was born Lillian Jeanette Kramer on February 13, 1942 in San Antonio, TX to Edwin Albert John Kramer and Lillian Edna Ressel Kramer.
Jeanette graduated from Highlands Highschool in San Antonio, Texas in May, 1960 where she was a member of The Brigade Pep Squad and numerous other organizations. Jeanette was known for being sweet, shy, friendly and fashionable. She moved to Hollywood, California shortly after graduation and married John Henry White in October of 1960. They had three children, Jeff, Jennifer and Janet, who were the pride of Jeanette's life.
Jeanette moved back to San Antonio with her children in 1969 and earned her Stock Broker's license at Bache Halsey Stuart in 1977. She was a member of the Desk and Derrick Club in San Antonio for many years. After leaving her career in brokering, she went on to manage the estate for a prominent San Antonio family until her retirement in 2003.
Jeanette married Emmitte Zeke Riser in July 2003 in San Antonio, Texas and shortly after moved to New Braunfels, Texas. They had many adventures and much fun over the years but mostly enjoyed their time with their families and friends. Jeanette's passions in addition to her family were entertaining, decorating, reading, traveling, dining out and her beloved dogs. Jeanette rescued numerous stray dogs from the streets of San Antonio over the years and continued to show her love for them by adopting them throughout her life.
Jeanette had a smile that could light up a room, a heart bigger than Texas and was loved by all who had the chance to meet her even for a brief moment. She was somehow always the life of the party, the best advice giver and the shoulder we could all lean on. She adored all of her grandchildren and had a unique bond with each of them. She will be missed more than words can say but we find comfort knowing she is in God's arms and no longer in pain.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Emmitte "Zeke" Riser of New Braunfels, TX, son Jeff White of San Antonio, TX and his wife Raquel, daughter Jennifer Koecher of Dallas, TX and her husband Drew, daughter Janet Rich of Dripping Springs, TX, stepchildren Stephen Riser and wife Gayla, Brandy Sego and husband Bill, Candace Hollingsworth and husband Benjamin, Ginny Miller and husband Josh, Zachary Riser and wife Tori, Zeke Riser and wife Priscilla and her beloved grandchildren Delaney White, Jordan Rich, Dylan Rich, Noah Koecher, Meredith Koecher, McKenna Koecher and many loved step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Jeanette is also survived by her sister Marilyn Schwarz and husband Robert and her brother Gerald Kramer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant brother Ronald Edwin, infant sister Jeanette Elaine, mother Lillian Kramer, father Edwin Kramer and sister-in-law Jane Kramer.
