Jesse Lozano Obituary

LOZANO
Jesse J. Lozano, born on January 9, 1930 in Eagle Pass, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Janie Lozano of 57 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo and Maria Lozano, sisters Magdelena Yznaga, Virginia Evans and Consuelo Sandoval. He is survived by his children Sylvia Arce (Arturo), Cecilia De La Rosa(Jesse), and Alfred J. Lozano(Mary Helen); grandchildren Monique Arce, Alfred J. Lozano Jr., Priscilla Brill and Alexis Salazar; great-grand children Aubrianna Salazar and Marco Brill; sisters Mary Bodah Esther Winfield, Irene Coronado (Adolph) Evangeline Zalapa brother Eddie Lozano as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jesse worked for Civil Service for 35 years as a Management Specialist and retired from Lackland Air Force Base. He actively served for 4 years in the U.S. Navy and 30 years as a Naval reservist. Jesse also had his business as an Accountant, Tax Consultant and Notary Public.
SERVICE
Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North from 6PM to 8PM. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 7PM. Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2. The family would like to thank Dr. Mario Juarez MD, Dr. Larry Davis MD and Cardiologist Dr. Fernando Triana, and Dr. J. Rhan and Dr. Rosemary Chacko and the staff at Vitas Hospice Unit as well as Nurses Carol Clites and Frank Meza from Axis Home Health for the loving care given to our father. Uncle Jesse you will be so dearly missed. I thank you for the love and memories, which you so graciously gave and shared. My most fond memory was you dressing up as Santa at Abuelita Velasquez’s house. Good bless you and the family.
