Joe Gusman departed to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ December 14, 2020 surrounded by family.
He is preceded by his parents and brothers. He was married to his loving wife for 63 years, raised two sons, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, a devout Catholic of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He sang at Inspiration Hills Nursing Home on Fridays, bringing music and joy to the resident seniors. He played with his Mariachi group at downtown Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and a regular Mariachi at Mexican Manhattan. Joe served in the US Army Reserve and was employed at Kelly AFB until retirement. His smile and giving heart will be missed by his family, his friends and parishioners. Joe touched many lives and will continue to be an inspiration to those he loved and to those who loved him.
Visitation December 29, 2020, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm rosary 7:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria.
Entombment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No 2.
