Mrs. Patsy and family,
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Joe was such a wonderful person always smiling coming in to the gym @ Freedom Fitness. It was nice to have conversations with him and seeing him in the gym everyday.
May you Rest In Peace. We will miss you!

I was saddened to hear the news of Joe’s passing. I have loved being in touch with him from the other side of the globe after so long, over the last 14 months. I will miss his emails that always brought a smile to my face. I was excited at the prospect of finally meeting again after 32 years but unfortunately due to covid became impossible. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family. With much love from cousin Ester Monaco Moretti and family (Melbourne Australia)

Patsy, Blas, David, and Debbie,

I am so sorry for your loss. I always loved my conversations with Uncle Joe and discussing UT football with him when I came to town. He will be sorely missed, and I am sorry that I was unable to make the funeral.

Mr. Monaco was my Branch Chief when I started working at Kelly AFB in his Electronic Test Equipment Branch. Although I was just a bench worker, He asked me to finish setting up and maintain a card tracking system for electronic equipment throughout the base that required scheduled calibration either in-shop or on-site. He accepted my suggestions and I enjoyed my working relationship with him. My condolences to his family and may he Rest In Peace.

I was raised two blocks West of Joe's home on West Martin street. I always remember Joe's smile, it could light up a room. On occasions of my travels to San Antonio and went to St. Francis, there was the big smile of greeting. My condolences to the family may he RIP.

Patsy and family,
Joe was always so to all my family. We didn't work together at Kelly but I knew of him then and at church at San Francesco. My family & I are Longhorn fans and we would always talk about football, He was a season ticket holder and as passionate about the Longhorns as I was and still am. Rest in Peace Joe, the angels are watching over you always. We will miss Joe's smile and know he is at peace. HOOKEM Cindy P.

Joe was a wonderful person to have on the team at Kelly AFB. I enjoyed our time together at Kelly. Joe was always in a good mood with a smile on his face. I also used to see and visit with him when The Longhorn Club used to meet every month during football season in San Antonio. He was a very strong Texas Longhorn fan. I was sorry to learn of his passing. Joe, see you again in heaven! Rest in peace.
