Mr. John Charles Obadal, Jr., born July 19, 1945, went into the loving arms of the Lord on December 6, 2017, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by father John Charles Obadal, Sr. and mother Consuelo Trevino Patino. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Hortencia H. Obadal, sons John Charles Obadal III (Spouse Tracy), Christopher James Obadal and Jason Eric Obadal, sister Mary Oviedo Lyles as well as grandchildren, Jason C. Obadal, Destiny R. Queen, Christian J. Obadal, Jewel E. Obadal, Alanis N. Obadal, Cooper J. Obadal, and also other family members and friends. Mr. Obadal was employed by SAWS for 38 years. He loved Las Vegas, fishing with sons & grandkids and enjoyed all sports. Visitation will begin Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. Visitation will resume Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 8am with military honors to be rendered by the US Army at 9am. Following military honors, the motorcade will depart at 9:15am with mass to be held at 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org). Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
