Jose Osornio Obituary
Jose Antonio "Tony" Osornio, 56, beloved father, grandfather, brother & son, lost his battle with cancer and died peacefully at home under the loving care of his beloved Delfina Lopez, on Friday, October 12, 2012.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Eustacio & Amelia Osornio. He is survived by his girlfriend, Delfina Lopez, son, Jesus Antonio Osornio (Joan), daughter, Amanda Ramirez (Eduardo), granddaughters, Janice & Jacqueline Osornio, brothers Jesus Eduardo Moncivais (Juanita), Eustacio "Jay" Osornio (Roxanne), and sisters, Margarita Moreno (Miguel), Grace Barbera (Mike) and Irene Stiles (Eddie), as well as, nephews, Eddie Moncivais, Miguel Moreno Jr., Marco Moreno, Alexis Barbera, Erich Rene Barbera, William Stiles, and nieces, Bellanyra Maldonado, Elisandra Moreno & Amy Vela.
A gifted musician, composer, singer, guitarist & accordionist, his life was performing and was well known in the conjunto community. He left us his music, which his loved ones & fans will greatly cherish.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Dr, San Antonio, Tx 78229.

You are in peace now my brother and pain free. You will be missed dearly. You have left us a legacy with your beautiful music. You went too quickly but I thank God you didn't linger in suffering too long. It is very comforting to me to have been with you at the moment you were called to your eternal rest. Until we see each other again, keep an eye on mom and dad for me. Love ya!

Our deepest condolences go out to Delfina and all of his family, we last saw him at a birthday party of a very good friend of ours not long ago, despite the pain he was going through he was an amazing man! And did not hesitate to do what he did best, make us laugh, his sense of humor along with his wonderful talent of music will be missed but he leaves us all wonderful memories, we will all unite with him one day, love you Tony, til we see you again!

So sad to hear of Tony's passing. He truly was a gifted and talented musician. We got to know him when he performed with the Pioneers de Rams Guerrero.His music will live on.
