Josephine Marie Pollock died at her home in Adkins, Texas on November 26, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 90. Jo was a talented artist who started a business inspired by the wildflowers that bloomed on her property. She had two beautiful marriages with the loves of her life, Anthony (Tony) Pollock for 43 years, and Raymond Hoog for 17 before they died. She had close relationships with her children Antoinette (Toni) Mulvaney and David Pollock; her grandchildren Katy, Erin and Daniel Mulvaney, Brian Pollock, Lauren Pollock; and great-grandchildren Jackson and Everett. She was born in Moulton, Texas in 1935. She worked as a medical technologist and later launched a business that sold hand-painted Christmas ornaments and Texas-themed art on postcards, ceramics, and glassware around the state for more than 30 years. She lived in the San Antonio area her entire life, but traveled around the world, including Iguazu Falls in Argentina, the Hawaiian islands and up and down the Mississippi River, and saw the Pope on a trip to Rome. She was a devoted Spurs fan, ardent reader of the Express-News, and devout Catholic who was involved in many ministries up until the last years of her life.
