Joy: A sweet lady that worked so hard to keep fellow EHS exes in touch! Grief never really goes away as a song, a prayer, a moment can flood memories back of a loved one. As a Christian woman we know she's with God in Heaven--this brings comfort!

Dear Family
Joy and I shared many stories during our drives to choir practice for many years. She'd usually laugh herself to tears telling the day's events. She really enjoyed life! After walking became impossible, it was wonderful that Paul continued to get her to Mass and socials at the church. I'm sure she missed being "'up in the loft" with the choir members because she would mention her disappointment. I'm quite sure that she'll get, and accept, an invitation to join the choirs of angels now.
My condolences to all of you.

Joy was a delightful warm and loving person. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was most helpful to our Edison High School Reunions thru the years by working tirelessly to help organize and contacting graduates to attend. She & I were 1955 EHS graduates. Marie Quick Hiester

My mother remembers vividly how Joy smiled and welcomed her as a new member of the Choir at Annunciation.
So many years ago and when they could no longer walk upstairs she and mom would greet each other at Sunday Mass. Joy would wave her hand to warn mom to keep her feet from being rolled over by her wheelchair. I always enjoyed visiting and sharing stories with her and Paul when we met for events at our beloved Annunciation Church. Thank you for your kindness and smiles for us.
