Juan Ortegon Obituary
Juan Garza Ortegon, II was called home to be with our Lord January 17, 2010 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Agueda Ortegon; sister and brother. He is survived by his wife, Eulalia S. Ortegon of 46 years of marriage; son, John G. (Nichelle) Ortegon, III; daughter, Betty (Martin) Palacios; grandchildren, Alyssa Nicole Palacios and Jacob Martin Palacios; 7 brothers; 2 sisters; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin January 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass January 21, 2010 at San Juan de Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made to the family of Mr. Ortegon.

Mr Ortegon was a wonderful person who loved to laugh, loved his Spurs, and especially loved his Cowboys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mrs. Ortegon, Betty, Big John, and all the rest of the family. May God give you strength through this very difficult time. We love you all.
