Judith Ann Speer Morgan, age 74, passed away September 4th, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Judy chose to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at Soldiers of the Cross Fellowship, 14788 FM 439, Nolanville, Texas.
Judy was born on March 17th, 1951, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Claude and Dorothy Speer. She grew up in Robstown and graduated from Robstown High School in 1969. She attended Texas A&I University from 1969 to 1973 where she studied Elementary Education, specializing in kindergarten. She moved to San Antonio, Texas to begin her teaching career. She worked for 29 years in the San Antonio I.S.D. at Laura Steele Elementary as a kindergarten teacher (17 years) and then as a 2nd grade teacher (12 years). Judy was a member of the Texas Retired Teacher Association.
Judy met her husband Charlie in January of 1980, and they married in Robstown at her sister's home in 1983. In 2019 she and Charlie relocated to Belton, Texas.
Judy attended the Fellowship of San Antonio Church in San Antonio, Texas and upon relocating to Belton, Texas became a member of The Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship in Nolanville, Texas.
Judy enjoyed many activities with her husband such as fishing, gardening and traveling. She also loved to read.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Charlie, sons; Alan & wife Elena Morgan of Royse City, Texas, Sean & wife Tracy Morgan of Appleton, Wisconsin, Scott & wife Amanda Morgan of Tyler, Texas, six grandchildren, three great granddaughters, and one great grandson, sister Claudia & husband Johnny Secrest of Corpus Christi, Texas and nephew Wade Secrest.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Dorothy Speer.

Ms. Speer was my kindergarten teacher at Laura Steele in 1974-75. Being 5 yrs old at the time, my memory is a little vague but I do remember her being so nice and kind and one of my favorite elementary school teachers. RIP Ms. Speer, may you fly high with the angels in heaven
