He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, and thereafter attended St. Phillip's College and received a Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) Certificate. Riojas Family, I, along with my family, send our condolences to Julio's parents, his children, siblings and vast family members. We met Julio at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church right after the Pope's Visit. My daughter was in the Mariachi group while at Guadalupe. They also attended 'tocadas' and many other events through the Church. I know as a Christian Julio has entered the gates of Heaven. He will guide and greet everyone he knows with his violin playing and singing, and welcome each person, when we join him for our eternal life. Blessings, hugs and much love to each person missing Mr Julio.
God Bess you all.

First time getting to see Julio was about 45 years ago at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, performing in the parish hall with his syblings. Then it was his involvement at Inner City Development...funny young man, skateboarder, volunteer. Then it was his many times playing at the Inner City Friendship Festivals or hearing his group playing in someone's yard around the neighborhood for a birthday or Mother's Day, etc. or at a quinceanera. Then he played at Patti's final party at the end of her time serving on City Council! Then there was his playing in a beer commercial our daughter Faith helped produce. So many wonderful encounters over the years. We will all miss Julio so much. Love to all the family. We celebrate with you a life that created a lot of laughter and expressed a lot of love. We pray you rest in peace, Julio. Thank you, God, for his life. Much love and many prayers.

Mr. & Mrs. Riojas and family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember the good times that Julio and I had. It was a pleasure to have known him when we were with Mariachi Campanas de America. We had alot of good times together when we were playing and just hanging out when not playing. We were family. Julio was like a brother and I can say you both were like my second mom and dad.
Now we are left with memories and the promise from our Lord that we shall be together in eternity after we leave this world. My prayers are with you.
