Kathleen Gomez Obituary
Kathleen Diane Aleman Gomez, loving wife, aunt, sister and daughter, was called home to our Lord on Monday, February 9, 2015. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Albert T. Aleman, Sr. her sister, Elizabeth Ann Aleman, grandparents, Alfonso Sr. & Adelaide Aleman and Fernando Esparza.
Kathy, a San Antonio native, was born on April 6, 1968. Kathy lived a full life of consuming passions that encompassed family, church, and the Southwest Airline community. A devout Catholic, Kathy attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and graduated from Incarnate Word High School and Incarnate Word University. Kathy was employed by Southwest Airlines for almost 20 years and held various positions with the airline.
Kathy is survived by her husband Mike J. Gomez; her mother, Martha Esparza Aleman Ramirez; step-father, Frank Ramirez; brothers and their spouses, Albert "Buddy" & Annette, Michael & Tracey; nieces & nephews; Christina E. Aleman, Alexandria N. Aleman, Aaron T. Aleman, Nikolai Aleman and Elaena Aleman; grandmother; Markolfa C. Esparza. The Aleman-Gomez family would like to extend its sincere appreciation to her many friends at Southwest Airlines and Incarnate Word High School & University.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
