I lived across the street from the Voss family in the '50's, and enjoyed his family and the great swing set he built Kurt & Ted... We hated to see them move away, but the wrought iron fencing and swing stayed behind to mark their place in our lives...Mr. & Mrs. Voss were kind people.
Great memories.

Mr. Voss was a kind and gentle soul. I enjoyed caring for him at the clinic. It was always a pleasure. I'm certain he will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Voss family,

Sincere condolences on the loss of Kurt ("Mr. Voss" around here). He was a favorite of us here at the auction house for years for his friendly nature, funny comments, and warm smile. He will be missed.

Dear family,

My prayers for comfort are with you during this time of goodbyes. I have many wonderful memories of Mr. Voss, of his infectious smile and laughter, his servant's heart and his love for his Lord and family. He has left a lasting legacy behind for those of us who served beside him at FBCSA. Even before his home going, every time I have looked at the beautiful chandeliers in Unity Hall, I've though of him with fondness and prayerful thanks. Now they will be a constant reminder of his legacy of love. God bless you and keep you wrapped in His loving arms in the days ahead.

Lauretta - I've long felt like I knew your Grandfather and other family members through your love for them and stories shared along with pictures. I didn't realize his metalwork was displayed in art installations in addition to functional use. I should not have been surprised as his creativity was displayed through his home, love for music and fun. I always pictured him at the center of your River House fun and clearly he was! His legacy lives through you and other family members - your life continues to be an extension, of which I know he was very proud. Thinking of you during this time of loss, and trusting that God will soothe you as your heart heals.

I remember him as a kind father of Kurt and Ted who lived across the street from us on Fresno. Memories remain of the wonderful swings he built, and train set up that we all played with our trains as well. And the river house was fun to visit...memories flowed in my mind as I floated by years later of those times.
Then later as I saw his iron work in the projects I helped build.
The memories live on.
