Lucy Sanchez Obituary
Lucy Pacheco Sanchez went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 5, 1919 in Floresville, Texas to Alejandro Pacheco and Esther (Herrera) Pacheco. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur V. Sanchez, Sr.; her son, Cecilio Sanchez; sister, Alice Martinez; and brother, Abegail Pacheco; She is survived by her daughters, Lucy S. Laque (Sebastian), Adelina Molina (Guillermo), Celia Haley, Nancy Salinas (Johnny); sons, Reynaldo Sanchez (Eve), Arthur Sanchez, Jr. (Martha), Esteban Sanchez (Diana), Henry Sanchez (Connie); sister, Cecilia Ahumada; brothers, Abel Pacheco, Benjamin Pacheco (Molly), Efraim Pacheco; daughter-in-law, Gloria Sanchez; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 6:00pm-9:00pm, with an evening service at 7:00pm at Brookehill Funeral Home. A procession will depart the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 9:30am, with a 10:00am service at Pollard Memorial United Methodist Church, 5303 Interstate Hwy. 35 South, San Antonio, Texas 78211. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park.

Hello, My condolences to the Pacheco and Sanchez family. She was a great person and I have good memories of her. She would make the best tamales and potato salad. I'll always remember the frequent fishing trips with the family to the coast. Also, when I would ask her if wanted me to buy her a soda she would say to get her an "Orange" soda (her favorite). I will always cherish these memories of her and tell these stories to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. May God Bless You.
