Margaret Icke Obituary

Margaret Louise Windlinger Icke passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2003 at the age of 88. She was a founding member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, was very active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a longtime member of Hermann Sons Louise Schuetze No. 3. Preceding her in death were her husband, Arthur Icke; parents, Herman and Amanda Windlinger; sister, Lucille Schuman and her brother, Herman J. Windlinger, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Marie Miller and her husband, Myles; sons, Art Icke and his wife Kim, Harold Icke and his wife Betsy, Charles Icke and his fianc 5/8e Cecilia; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerome L. Windlinger of Phoenix, AZ, James Windlinger of Denver, CO and sister, Barbara Braden of San Antonio, TX. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 9:30 A.M. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2003 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Acting as Pallbearers will be Christopher Miller, David Miller, Daniel McQuade, Jason Sibley, Jeff Icke and Michael Braden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Visit us at www.mem.com. Sunset Funeral Home.
