Margarita Lara Obituary

Margarita Ibarra Rodriguez Lara, age 94, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2006. She will be welcomed in heaven by the love of her life, her husband, Domingo E. Lara, daughter and son in law, Rosa and Albert Palmer, son in law, Henry Guillemette, brother, Leocadio (Leo) Rodriguez, granddaughter, Natasha Dominque Cortez. Margarita was the last of Severa Ibarra and Pedro Rodriguez's children. Our Mom was our rock. She and our father were wonderful examples of what family is all about. Always welcoming our relatives into their home, never hesitating to help anyone who needed a place to stay, humble and generous till the end. She is survived by daughters and sons in law, Patsy and Joe Frank Reyes, Severa and Genaro Krausse, Carmen and Rodolfo Cortez, Florence Guillemette, son, Pete Lara and also family friend Nela Martinez, 29 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. We would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their help and support. Special thanks to cousins Joe and Carmen Salazar of Arizona for their love, support and kindness the showed our Mom. Visitation will start on Tuesday, June 20 at 2:00 pm with a rosary to follow at 7:00 pm at Palm Heights Mortuary. Funeral procession will depart Palm Heights Mortuary at 9:30 am on Wednesday, June 21 for a Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Palm Heights Mortuary.
