MARIANNE SALZMAN
December 27, 1957 - July 24, 2025
Marianne Salzman passed away on the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was 67 years old.

Marianne was born on December 27, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, to Helen Clark and John Dickey.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Salzman, with whom she shared a life of deep partnership and enduring companionship; son David Clark Salzman; daughter Jennifer Mae Ahrens (Bill); grandson David Jacob Pearson; granddaughter Christine Pearson; brothers Michael Dickey (Susan) and Philip Dickey (Anna); sisters Susan Mastropolo and Madelon Bowling (Ken); sister-in-law Dianna Caplan; many nephews and nieces; Christy Marie Hoefling, Starlina Butler, and several others who considered her to be "Mom/Grandma". She was preceded in death by her son Aaron Schwark and "grandson" Dylan Williams,

Marianne will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and quiet strength. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.

A Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Mission Burial Park North, 20900 I-10, San Antonio, Texas. There will be a meal of condolence at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Fellowship Hall, 10226 Ironside Drive, San Antonio, TX 78230 immediately following the service.
