Mark Weiss Obituary

Mark passed away in his sleep on July 26 with his beloved cat Sophie by his side.

He loved all animals especially his dogs Echo and Echo 2. He has struggled with health issues most of his life. He graduated with a degree in Construction management from the University of Denver. He spent most of his life working in that field. One of his signature accomplishments was designing and building the front entrance to Sea World of Texas. He enjoyed tackling difficult construction projects and problem solving them. Many of his clients were minority contractors that needed his expertise. He loved to watch shows that detailed how things were constructed.
He worked on writing a book for kids to help them learn about construction. Mark wanted to thank the many special care givers that supported him, took great care of him and extended his life for many years.

He loved to tell stories that seemed larger than life and many were just that. He always had a joke to tell(most were inappropriate). He loved food and ordering the most expensive item on the menu.

He is survived by his mom and dad Margie Bohl and Martin Weiss and his brother Mike and his family. It is said that many of a persons' best qualities are not shared until they pass. Share your memories with your loved ones while they are alive.
Mark argued with our Maker and was angry with him at times but he died knowing he loved God and is in a better place now with him in Heaven.

Donations can be made to Children's Church of God in his memory. 505 W Quincy St San Antonio, Tx 78212.

A celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Contact the Mission Park Funeral website for more details.

My CPA passed away this week so I was looking for his obituary service information and sadly stumbled upon Mark's obituary.
To Mark's family, I am deeply saddened to read he passed away in August, I didn't know. I knew him from Mount Sacred Heart School and he was a funny and kind young man.
So sorry to hear about his health struggles and subsequent passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I know God has you now so everything will be okay.
Blessings,
Susan Orr Eisinger
