Martin Perez Gatica, Jr passed away January 31, 2022. He was born on January 21, 1942 to Martin Bocanegra Gatica, Sr and Angelita Perez Gatica.
Martin was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had a passion for all sports especially The Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, all Texas teams and his grandkids's sports teams.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Angelita Gatica; siblings, Virginia "Vergie", Ignacio "Pecas", Angelita "Angie"(Tim), Pedro "Pete" (Minnie), Gloria Ariza, Lorenzo "Lore" Sr. (Margie).
He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 50years Felipa. Loving father of Elouise "Ellie" (Carlos "Charlie"), Mary Jane (Terrence "Jackson"), Jennifer (Fernando, Jr.), Martin "Marty" III. Blessed grandfather "Papo" to Chanel (Amy), Khristine "Tina" (Christopher), Fernando "Nano" III (Jenna), Nathaniel "Natie Boy", Joshua "Spanky", Cristian, Analeigh "Lilly", Julissa "Julz", Mason Josiah; and siblings, Petra, Martina (Albert), Eloise, Carolina and Mario Sr. (Mary).
A visitation will be on Sunday, February 20 from 4:00pm - 10:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to begin at 7:00pm. A Mass will be on Monday, February 21 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
