Always a perfect gentlemen, the finest uncle a nephew could ever want!! Uncle Marvin is loved by all and he will never be forgotten. Running amok and aimlessly swimming around the in and around Port Aransas, Tx at the municipal harbor Uncle Marvin would take me and my cousin to the galley of the Coast Guard Cutter and he would have the cook make us hamburgers and french fries with a huge bowl of ice cream afterwards. He watched over us at all times without us ever knowing it. Uncle Marvin's legacy will live on in me forever. I've never met a kinder man and I can't ever remember a time he wasn't smiling. He was a natural born leader.

Chief Lee was one on the best friends I had the privilege of knowing. We worked at Wilford Hall for a number of years. He kept our crew laughing it was a pleasure coming to work knowing he was their.Fishing tales and laughter was Chief Lee and his pipe. I will miss him but the memories will live on forever.Thank you Chief and God has blessed you and now you can tell your fish stories to him.

Marvin was a wonderful brother-in-law and all around sweet loving man. Our condolences to Nancy and the whole family. He will be missed. Growing up was a lot of fun with Marvin. He even tried to teach me to ride a motor scooter. Thank God it died every time I put it in gear. I think he was happy it wouldn't run either. I will miss him.
