Michael Milner Obituary
Michael L. Milner, passed away on May 16, 2018 in San Antonio. He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi to Everett and Betty Milner. He graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio and from the University of Texas at Austin. While he was in college he served in the Air Force ROTC program. He had a long career as a systems/business analyst in the IT industry, working for companies such as Hughes Tool in Austin; Schlumberger in New Orleans; Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville; and Capture RX in San Antonio. Michael was a proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed amateur photography and taking long drives in the country. He was also a past master of the Kerrville Masonic Lodge #697. Michael was preceded in death by his Father, Everett L. Milner. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Milner; son and daughter in-law, Jason and Jennifer Milner; grandchildren, Madisyn and Malachi Milner; mother, Betty Milner; and many loving in-laws.

SUNDAY, MAY 20, 2018
3:00 P.M.
PORTER LORING MORTUARY NORTH
Open Road Bible Fellowship will officiate, followed by a Masonic remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society and The Alzheimer's Association. The family will also be placing a memorial bench in the Timberwood Park recreation area.

Dear Norma, Jason, and Family: Thank you Norma for sending an email to us informing us of Michael's passing. I worked with Michael at Mooney, where he was in charge of our I.T. Department in very rough times. His professional demeanor and calm handling of some challenging system upgrades while supporting all his clients says it all about his being a fine man.
Susan and I enjoyed Norma and Michael's barbecues at their Kerrville home, and their friendship. We miss you all.

Mike was a close friend and I am deeply sorry he is gone. We worked together for many years at various companies and he was truly one of the best bosses and co-workers I have ever had the privilege to know. Not only was he extremely intelligent but he had a caring heart for others. He will be missed by many.
