Mike Snider Obituary

Mike Snider left his temporary home to join his Master Carpenter, Jesus, on January 23, 2008. Mike served in the Navy and was a proud Texan. He loved God, his family, history, and his daily crossword. He left a mark on San Antonio as well as many other cities with the many buildings he helped construct. Mike's parents, mother and father-in-law, two brothers, and one grandchild, preceded him in death. Mike is survived by Kathye, his loving wife of 45 years, his two daughters, Ginger Ryan (Jack) and Rebecca Snider; his three grandchildren, Morgan, Chelsea, and Jacob; his great-grandson, Silas; his brothers, Jerry (Lynn), Tom (Patti), and John (Carey); brothers-in-law, Mike and Patrick Karger (Karen); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday, January 28 at 1:30 PM at John Calvin Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cherished Child Preschool at John Calvin Presbyterian Church. It was my pleasure to work with Mike at Parsons. I was close enough to him to learn of Mike's great, dry humor and his never ending ridicule of the funniest things. He could keep us laughing any time we stopped by his office. I am so very sorry for your lose. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
