Ofelia Gomez Obituary

Ofelia Rosa "Kaki Bear" Gomez, born July 9, 1973, was called home by the Lord on All Saint's Day, November 1, 2007, at the age of 34. Kaki Bear is preceded in death by her father, Felipe V. Gomez, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Adela C. Gomez; sisters, Crystal (Randy) and Irene Gomez; brothers, Felipe (Julie), Bobby (Norma), Eddie (Roxanne) and David (Melody) Gomez; nieces and nephews, Sabrina, Philip, Lauren, Bobby, Genaro, Danielle, Eddie Jr., Alexis, Matthew, Arianna and Nathan; grandmother, Juanita V. Gomez; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Sunday, November 4, 2007, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1321 El Paso. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery III. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
