Osbaldo Jimenez Obituary

Osbaldo V. Jimenez, age 89, passed away July 16, 2003. He was a very active parishoner at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church since it was founded in 1981. Mr. Jimenez was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 8158. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alamo Area Parkinson's Support Group, c/o Joan Duval, 8507 Chesham, San Antonio, TX 78254-2460. He was preceded in death by his sons, Oscar Saenz Jimenez and Osbaldo Saenz Jimenez, II. Mr. Jimenez is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elba S. Jimenez; children and their spouses, Maria Virginia Anderson (James F.), Osbaldo Jimenez, III (Felicitas), Isabel J. Fears (Edward R.), and Elba J. Ramos (Joel); sister, Obdulia Jimenez; also, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2003, 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Castle Ridge Mortuary, 8008 Military Drive West, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 18, 2003, 2:00 P.M. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2 under the direction of Castle Ridge Mortuary.
