PETE HERNANDEZ Obituary
On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Pete Hernandez Jr passed away.
He was born on October 30, 1952 in San Antonio, TX. He is preceded by his parents, Bertha and Pete Hernandez SR.
He is survived by his wife Priscila; Children; Grandchildren; and extended family. Pete served in the US Army for 26 years.
After retiring from the military, he pursued a career with the SA Health Department from where he retired.
Pete will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
A private Military Honors Service will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A celebration of his life will proceed at a later date.

Dear Ashley (Goddaughter), This is the 1st Birthday without your father, yet his loving and sacred spiritual presence will be with you forever. As Christians, we believe that our main life is when we return to the Lord for eternal life. Your Dad followed the Lords teachings and helped needy persons without expecting anything in return. Our deepest condolences to the family. Met Pete in our neighbor, always keeping our neighborhood free from graffiti and assisting neighbors in need of help with their yard. We never exchanged our real names. I called him Sarge and he called me Mr. Fireman. He will be missed by everyone in our neighborhood. May be rest in peace. Thank you for your service "Sarge"
