Pete Navarrette Obituary
Pete Navarrette, born December 27, 1940, was called home to join his parents, Antonio and Louise Larranaga and Salvador Navarrette on January 4, 2015 at the age of 74. Pete is survived by his wife Liz Navarrette, three children; Peter Navarrette and his wife Jennifer, Michael Navarrette and his wife Pamela, and Candace Navarrette Chastain and her husband Lee, and six grandchildren; Austin, Hillary, Ashley, Savannah, Jackson, and Griffin.
Pete was born in Goodland, Kansas, and a graduate of Salina High School. He started his career with Whites Automotive as a Store Manager in Austin, TX and advanced to District Manager before purchasing his own franchise in 1976 in Universal City, TX, which he owned for 26 years. Advance Auto Parts recognized his salesmanship, and he worked as an Area Commercial Account Manager before retiring in April 2014. Pete served two consecutive terms as a Board of Trustee with Judson ISD, enjoyed spending time with his family, and traveling to Las Vegas. He was an avid sports fan, with an affinity for his Longhorns, Cowboys, and Spurs.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-NE, 14315 Judson Road, San Antonio, TX 78233.

I grew up next door to Pete, Sal & Adelia on good old Kansas St. in Salina, Ks…..memories are great! Pete and his brother Sal were like my brothers during those years and we shot baskets, played tetherball, had a treehouse, etc. I've missed staying in touch with them since I moved away in 1959 but have thought of them, their sister and mother many times!
RIP Pete and may God hold close his family!

Pete Navarrette will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His whit and energy were amazing. He loved his family and friends and the Judson School District.
