Ramon Rangel Obituary
Ramon C. Rangel passed away June 23, 2009. He was born on March 25, 1923 in Moore, Texas. Ramon served in the Army from 1943-45. He participated in Battle and Campaigns-Bismarck Archipelago New Guinea, Southern Philippine Liberation Luzon. Ramon is survived by his wife Janie of 58 years. Daughters Leticia Morales and husband David, Margo Hernandez and husband Gerry, Pat Sosa, Sandra Mojica and husband Robert, son Rene Rangel and wife Maribel. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Javier Rodriguez for his medical care in keeping their dad with them for 13 years. Also, to Southern Care Hospice for their attentive care especially to Becky Silva. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25th, starting at 4:00 with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26th at 9:30 a.m., at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Burial Park, 20567 Hwy 16 South Von Ormy, Texas 78073.

It is with deepest sadness that I extend my condolences to you on the loss of your beloved.
As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service and dedication to our great country.
