Mr. Raymond Blanco Madrid, age 84 of San Antonio, went to be with our Lord on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Raymond was a most beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, teacher and friend. Raymond is survived by his children: Raymond Madrid Jr. (Debbie), Steven Madrid, Mona Alonzo (Raul) and Roxana Austin (Paul), along with his 12 grandchildren: Joseph Madrid (Deneice), Tasia Lee (Daniel), Vanessa Madrid (Roy), Diandra Alonzo, Ariana Alonzo, Bianca Lucio (Patrick), Raymond G. Madrid, Rebekah Alonzo, Mia Alonzo, Cole Austin, Alexa Austin, Ava Austin, as well as 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Chavela Centeno (William), brother Carlos Madrid (Rachel) and sister in- laws Frances Rodriguez (Rudy), Penny Vickers (Charles) and Virginia (Cookie) Barrera. He is reunited in Heaven with the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Margaret Madrid, his parents Carlos and Isabel Madrid and his brother Gabriel Madrid.

Visitation will be held at Mission Park South Chapel on Monday, May 3rd from 5:30-8pm, Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral mass will be held at Mission San Jose on Tuesday, May 4th at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at Mission Park South.

I was fortunate and Honored to be a student of Mr Madrid's at TEEX training school I learned so much from him.He had so much knowledge in the trade and great Instructor but most of all he was a Gentleman.May you rest in peace Mr.Madrid.God Bless!
