Rebeca (Becky/Momo) B. Lazarine passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, with her devoted husband and family by her side.
Becky was born May 24, 1943, in San Antonio, TX to Armandina and Miguel Bravo. On November 8, 1961, Becky married Antonio (Tony/Popo) Lazarine. She was the love of his life and together they raised 4 children. Becky wholeheartedly embraced being an Army wife and mother while traveling the world during Tony's military career. She somehow made their relocations seem effortless, often toting their young children and luggage by herself on long flights.
Best known for her love and devotion to family, Becky was a wonderful wife and mother and also helped raise many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an enthusiastic cheerleader for all of them and attended many of their school events. Becky was the best cook, and also enjoyed sketching, coloring, painting, embroidery, and sewing. She celebrated every holiday, and especially loved making her home the place to be on Christmas Eve.
Leaning on her faith, Becky always maintained a positive outlook and displayed incredible inner strength as she faced and conquered many health challenges. She had a magnetic personality and lit up every room she entered.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Bravo. Carrying on her memory are her beloved husband, Tony; their children: Ray, Dan, Kathy, and Yvonne; daughters-in-law, Nioma and Eileen; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Belia and Charlie; sisters-in-law: Diana Galan, Debbie Lazarine, Nora Lazarine, Mary Lou Lazarine, and Maria Bravo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family expresses their gratitude to the many dedicated medical staff who provided exceptional care, especially Doctors Sharon Wilks, Robert Svatek, W. Cannon Lewis, and Christopher Caufield; and to the devoted family and friends who were always there during Becky's time of need.
