Reyes Mendiola Jr.

Reyes Mendiola, Jr., our wonderful and loving daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend, born September 15, 1977, was called home by the Lord on October 26, 2007, at the age of 30. He will be missed by all. Mr. Mendiola is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucio and Aurora R. Maldonado; aunt, Virginia R. Adame; and uncle, Vito Moran. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Nicole Harshaw; his treasured sons, Isaac and Steven Mendiola; parents, Reyes and Rosalinda Mendiola; sisters, Karen and Tanya Mendiola; brother, Julian (Anissa) Mendiola; grandparents, Julian and Eufemia Mendiola; niece, Jilian Mendiola; nephew, Christopher Zavala; great-nephew, Jordan Zavala. He is also survived by his aunts, Esther Sanchez, Mary Ann Morales and Vanessa Moran; best friends, Adam Garza and Lawrence Briseno; and numerous other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007, and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Shrine de Nuestra Senora de San Juan de los Lagos, 3231 El Paso Street. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
