Reynaldo Rangel Garza went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020, at the age of 81 years old.

Reynaldo lived a life dedicated to Our Lord, he was one to always offer service to his family, friends and community. He was born in Del Rio, Texas, and grew up in San Antonio where he graduated from Fox Tech High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from a 42-year career in the US Postal Service.

Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jose Garza, Teresa Garza, Librado DeHoyos, Nasario DeHoyos, Johnny DeHoyos, and Lupe Flores.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Salinas Garza; children, Reynaldo Rangel Garza Jr, Michael Anthony Garza, and Patricia Ann Garza; step-children, Patricia Makowsky (Edgar), Diana Langham (Fred), Amanda Gonzales, and Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia (Neil). He is also survived by his siblings, Nick Garza (Celi), Pete Garza (Amelia), Chonita Serna, Helen Garcia (Fred), and Natalie Campos (Ray); nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, many family members and friends. Rey loved to dance, to travel, and play his guitar. He loved his wife, children, family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

Rosary and visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23rd from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St, San Antonio, TX 78201.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 24th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, burial service is closed to immediate family only.
