Robert "Bobby" Zurita was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 72.

He was born December 17, 1948 in San Antonio, TX.

He is reunited in heaven with his mother Evelyn Espitia; son Rene Zurita.

He is loved and will be greatly missed by his spouse Maria E. Villarreal; his children Robert Zurita Jr., Jeannie Hewgley (Mike), Adam Zurita (Angie), Monica Gonzalez, Sandra Gonzalez, Richard Villarreal (Angela), Tiffany Zurita (Paul), Ciara Bobbie Zurita (Joseph); 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Gilbert, Roseann, Linda, Cookie, Dickie, Precious, Gilbert Jr., as well as extended family members and friends.

"I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way." Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

Services:

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 9:15 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.

Our deepest condolences we have known Robert since he worked at Cavender Oldsmobile, Gina was just 2 yrs old..the boys were very young too! Such great memories. R.I.P. Zurita children take care!
